Questions people ask

What are the requirements to become a pilot in Indonesia?

Flight schools in Indonesia typically check age, height, eyesight and colour vision, English (often a TOEIC score) and education (an SMA or SMK diploma), and every cadet needs an aviation medical. Each school sets its own limits, so a school that is closed to you may be open at another.

Is there an age limit to become a pilot in Indonesia?

Schools set their own. Among the flight schools we studied, the youngest entry age is 16 to 18, and schools that set an upper limit put it between 23 and 35. Some set no upper limit.

Can I become a pilot if I am colour blind?

Normal colour vision is required by most schools and is checked in the aviation medical. See an aviation medical examiner before you spend money on applications.
